i-TRUST was set up to be a trusted source of technical support and expertise for charities and not for profit organisations. Originally known as the Cambridgeshire Circuit Rider Project (CCRP), we selected 15 organisations to take part in a pilot project to examine how efficiently ICT budgets were spent and check that ICT facilities were used to their full potential, taking into consideration the individual aims, needs and contexts of each organisation.

Since then the project has grown and changed its name to i-TRUST, which now offers a wide range of ICT training, support, advice, and procurement services.
